Thought about a career in Policing? Want your studies to develop skills relevant to your future career?
South Australia Police has partnered with two South Australian secondary schools to deliver Pathway to Policing programs for students undertaking either SACE Stage 1 (Year 11) or SACE Stage 2 (Year 12) studies.
These stand-alone Stage 1 and Stage 2 programs provide Year 11 and Year 12 students with the opportunity to undertake studies that support a pathway into South Australia Police, whether as a Police Officer, Police Security Officer, Community Constable, or in other roles within SAPOL.
The Roma Mitchell Secondary College Pathway to Policing program consists of two SACE Stage 1 subjects delivered across the year, with one subject undertaken in each semester. The program contributes toward the completion of SACE Stage 1 and aims to provide Year 11 students with foundational knowledge of policing, while promoting an understanding of the values and expectations of police work.
