The Commissioner of Police heads South Australia Police (SAPOL). The Commissioner reports directly to the Minister for Police.
The Commissioner is supported by the Deputy Commissioner, seven Assistant Commissioners and two Directors.
Six thousand employees provide corporate and statewide services.
