Information Services

South Australia Police (SAPOL) provides a number of information services to the public including:

Publications

SAPOL publications are available online including our:

  • Blue print magazine
  • annual report
  • Future directions strategy
  • corporate business plan.

A series of brochures and factsheets on safety and security and road safety are also available from our website.

Some publications and brochures are also available from your local police station or SAPOL office.

Documents available on payment of a fee
The following fees apply:

Document Type Fee (from 1 July 2012)
National police checks Individual full fee $55.00
  Individual concession $39.50
  Volunteer - without a volunteer organisation authorisation number $35.50
  Volunteer - with a volunteer organisation authorisation number No charge
Police reports Incident - including theft and burglary $65.00

 

Vehicle collision $65.00
Freedom of information Application for access to SAPOL records $30.50
  Application to amend your personal records No charge

SAPOL information statement

Section 9 of the Freedom of Information Act 1991 requires South Australian Government agencies to publish an annual information statement. This statement and further details about the types of information we hold is found in our annual reports in the section - 'Freedom of Information'.
