Nearly 90 homes have been destroyed or rendered uninhabitable as a result of the Pinery fire, it was announced today.


CFS have contained the Pinery Fire.

The roads within the Pinery fireground are now open.  Emergency crews have been working in the region with fire-fighting, removal of fallen trees and clearing roads to allow people to return to the area as quickly as possible.

South Australia Police has released their monthly state and Local Service Area crime statistics.

An Enfield man has been arrested and charged with two offences that allegedly occurred in North Adelaide in 2005 and 2010.

South Australia Police will recognise a significant milestone in history on Tuesday (1 December) with a street parade in Adelaide's CBD celebrating a century of women in policing.
