Police are at the scene of a serious crash at Kellidie Bay on the Eyre Peninsula.



Four people have been arrested and police are looking for a fifth after a restaurant owner was assaulted at Christies Beach last night.



The Emergency Management (Activities—Associated Direction No 17) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 has been revoked and replaced by the Emergency Management (Activities--Associated Direction No 18) (COVID-19) Direction 2021. This Direction comes into effect at 12.01am on Saturday 29 January 2022.



The Emergency Management (Appropriate Surgery During COVID-19 Pandemic No 6) (COVID-19) Direction 2022 has been revoked and replaced by the Emergency Management (Appropriate Surgery During COVID-19 Pandemic No 7) (COVID-19) Direction 2022. This Direction came into effect at 12.01am on 29 January 2022. Changes include:

Elective paediatric surgery is now permitted to be performed in South Australia.



Changes have been made to the following directions:

  • Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination Direction;
  • In-home and Community Aged Care and Disability Workers Vaccination Direction;
  • Residential Aged Care Facilities Direction; and
  • Forensic Science SA Vaccination Direction.
