CBD motorcycle shop break-in

Eastern District patrols were called to Franklin Street about 2.50am on Saturday 6 April, after reports of an alarm activation and someone trying to break-in.

A patrol arrived at the motorcycle shop and found the glass front door had been smashed.

CCTV shows a male suspect wheel a small motorbike from inside the premises before lifting it into the tray of a white Ford Courier or similar vehicle, last seen heading west on Franklin Street.

Police searched the area but did not locate the suspect or vehicle.

Crime scene investigators attended the scene this morning.
