Quad bike rider killed in crash at Port Broughton

A man died in a quad bike accident on private property at Port Broughton overnight.

Emergency services rushed to the property near the Spencer Highway, Port Broughton just after 1.30am on Saturday 30 March by reports two quad bikes had crashed into a fence in a paddock.

One rider, a 39-year-old Pennington man, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Sadly, the other rider, a 50-year-old Hackham man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police will be preparing a report for the Coroner.
