Rosewater theft arrest

About 7.45pm on Monday 3 August, police attended an abandoned house in Hardy Street after reports that a person was inside the premises, which had been fenced off after a fire.

Officers located a 50-year-old Mansfield Park man inside the property with a large amount of scrap metal which had been stolen from the house.

A further search uncovered an ice pipe and screwdriver in the man’s possession.

He was charged with theft, being unlawfully on premises and possess drug equipment.

The man was refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
