Revised lives lost - Hackham fatal crash

09 Apr 2024 6:55am

The number of lives lost on South Australian roads has been revised following an investigation into the death of a man at Hackham on Sunday.

About 10.30am on Sunday 7 April, police and emergency services were called to States Road after reports a car crashed into a tree.

The death of the driver, a 59-year-old Morphett Vale man, has been determined to be due to other issues.

As a result, the man's death will not be counted in the number of ‘Lives Lost’ on SA roads.

The current number of lives lost is 26 compared to 43 at the same time last year.
