Driver caught speeding and drink driving

A driver has been caught speeding and drink driving at Verdun overnight.
About 9.40pm on Tuesday 18 August, police detected a Ford utility travelling 158 km/h in a 110km/h zone on the South Eastern Freeway.
The driver underwent a breath test which police will allege returned a positive result of 0.068.
The driver a 22-year-old man from the Adelaide Hills was reported for drink driving, exceeding the speed limit.
The Ute was impounded for 28 days, and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
