A man has been reported by police after crashing at Christies Beach last month

A man will appear in court after being reported following a crashing at Christies Beach.

Police were called to Beach Road, at about 10.30pm on Thursday 23 July after reports a Mazda crashed into a light pole.

The driver a 24-year-old man from Hackham was treated at the scene by SA Ambulance and conveyed to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver's blood was analysed revealing a blood alcohol reading of 0.177.

As a result, today 18 August the driver was reported for drink driving, driving without due care and breaching licence conditions.

He was issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence notice and will appear in court at a later date.
