Drink driver arrested Port Lincoln

A drink driver has been arrested in Port Lincoln.

At 8pm, Thursday 25 April police received reports of an intoxicated driver in a drive-thru fast food outlet on Liverpool Street.

Police responded and located the driver, a 25-year-old man from France with two passengers. He was submitted to a breath test that returned a positive result of 0.141.

He was arrested and charged with drink driving and driving unlicensed. He was refused police bail and he will attend the Port Lincoln Magistrates Cour later today.

He was issued with a 12-month loss of licence and the vehicle was impounded.
