Serious crash in the Barossa

Just after 10pm on Sunday 21 April, police and emergency services were called to Eden Valley Road after reports a Holden sedan had crashed into a tree.

The impact caused significant damage to the front of the car and the driver was trapped inside.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 22-year-old Tanunda woman, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted to Adelaide for treatment. Her injuries do not appear to be life threatening at this time.

Barossa police attended to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
