Car v Bus in Adelaide

Police are investigating a crash in the CBD this evening.

About 7.45pm Sunday 5 May emergency services were called to the intersection of Pulteney and Pirie Streets after a Chery Omoda that had been facing south conducting a right turn into Pirie Street crashing into a public bus that had been travelling north on Pulteney Street.

The driver of the bus, a 60-year-old Bridgewater man, was thankfully not injured. A passenger on the bus, a 61-year-old Seaton man, received non-life-threatening injuries and was conveyed to hospital for treatment.

Driver of the car, a 23-year-old WA man, was not injured. He is expected to be issued an expiation notice.

The bus was able to be driven from the scene, the car was towed away.
