Man charged over vehicle crime at Nuriootpa

A man has been arrested following an investigation into a number of cars damaged at Nuriootpa on Saturday.

Between around 10pm and 11pm on Saturday 13 April, ten vehicles were interfered with, damaged or had their number plates removed in Baird Street and MacArthur Street.

During the same time period, a nearby business was broken into with further damage and thefts committed.

As a result of investigations, a 25-year-old Nuriootpa man was arrested and charged with ten counts of property damage, one count of serious criminal trespass and one count of theft. He was bailed to appear in the Tanunda Magistrates Court on 7 May.
