Neighbourhood Watch Week

Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) Week 2021 takes place 8-14 November and aims to raise public awareness of the benefits of belonging to a local NHW group while encouraging participation in the program.

This year, Neighbourhood Watch Australasia has partnered with Bunnings Warehouse to celebrate the week in style. Bunnings stores across Australia will be giving NHW groups priority access to BBQs, awareness tables and other activities in store, during the week.

If you’re in a NHW group and would like to get everyone together to celebrate, while also promoting yourselves to your local community, reach out to your local Bunnings store now! They will be very willing to assist you.

If you’re not in a NHW group keep an eye out for groups appearing in your local Bunnings stores and don’t be scared to ask them a question or two!

On Wednesday 10 November you’ll find the state Neighbourhood Watch SA team, along with volunteers from North Adelaide NHW group, at Bunnings Mile End. They’ll be talking all things crime prevention while answering questions about the NHW. The SA Police Band will also be making an appearance at lunch time. Make sure you pop in to meet the team!

Neighbourhood Watch SA is South Australia’s largest community crime prevention program. It brings neighbours and police together to solve local issues, develop safer neighbourhoods and create connected and inclusive communities.
