2023 NHW SA Awards and AGM

Each year Neighbourhood Watch SA (NHW) and SA Police express their appreciation for the valuable contributions that our volunteers and police officers provide to the NHW program, by hosting the annual Neighbourhood Watch SA Awards and Annual General Meeting (AGM).

This year the prestigious event was held on Saturday, 18 November 2023, in the beautiful surrounds of the Kooyonga Golf Club.

Earlier this year nominations were sought from across the NHW program and the winners were selected by an expert panel of NHW and SA Police members. The winners of the 2023 NHW Awards are:


The President's Award (Presented annually by the President of NHW VASA to a NHW volunteer who has demonstrated exemplary service to NHW)

Jennifer Moller – Klemzig NHW


Neighbourhood Watch Volunteer of the Year (Awarded annually to a NHW volunteer who has demonstrated exemplary service to NHW)

Robyn Williams – Klemzig NHW


Award of Merit (Awarded annually to NHW volunteers, NHW groups and police officers who have demonstrated superior levels of service to NHW)

Trevor Bellchambers – Gawler East NHW

Michael Czyzewski – Redwood Park NHW

Pamela Coretti – Klemzig NHW

Sheina Seifert – Klemzig NHW

Ben Williams – Whyalla Stuart NHW

Pauline Williams – Kingston SE NHW

Congratulations to all of the winners!

The NHW Awards ceremony was attended by more than 50 people including SA Police representatives Acting Assistant Commissioner Yvette Clark, Chief Inspector Andrew Robinson and Sergeant Philip Gurr, and NHW Board of Management members.

Along with celebrating the great work of our many NHW volunteers and SA Police members, during the AGM three NHW Board of Management members were re-elected to their positions – Phil Tavender, Heather Merritt and Andy Constandinides.
