Driver on the run after crashing into police vehicle

Just before 2am, Saturday 30 May Northern District patrols were on Martins Road at Paralowie and observed a white Toyota hatchback with registration plates that did not match.

Police attempted to stop the vehicle however the driver refused to pull over and continued driving into a cul de sac on Tracey Avenue.

The hatchback collided with a police fleet whilst conducting a U-turn in an attempt to leave the cul de sac.

The vehicle was last seen west on Max Drive. The driver and the vehicle have not been located.

There were no reports of injuries and the police vehicle was towed from the scene.

Investigations are ongoing to identify the driver and locate the vehicle.
