Drink driver crashes into parked car in Angle Vale

Police have reported a drink driver almost five times the limit after crashing into a parked car in Angle Vale.

Just after 10pm on Saturday 20 June police attended Harvest Boulevard after reports an MG sedan collided with a parked car.

Police spoke with the driver of the MG sedan who sustained minor injuries.

He was submitted him to a breath test which allegedly returned a positive result of 0.223, almost five times the legal limit.

Checks on the driver, a 27-year-old man from Angle Vale, revealed he was disqualified from holding a drivers licence.

He was reported for aggravated due care, drink driving and driving disqualified.

He will be summonsed to appear in the Magistrates Court at a later date.
