A man has been arrested charged with drug trafficking after he was detected with drugs at the Adelaide Railway Station.
At 9pm Saturday 20 June Police were conducting a Passive Alert Detection Dog (PADD) Operation at the Adelaide Railway Station.
A positive indication from Police Dog, Caris led police to search a man, who provided false details to officers.
It will be alleged during this search police located cash, small plastic bags and approximately 4 grams of cocaine.
The 42-year-old man from Blakeview was arrested.
Officers from State Operations Support Branch and Adelaide CIB, searched a hotel room booked in the CBD by the man and located over $10,000 cash and a small amount of cannabis.
During a further search of the man’s home address at Blakeview , with the assistance of Police Dog Winter, 5.8kg of cannabis, 6 cannabis plants, and drug paraphernalia were located.
He has been charged with traffic-controlled drug, state false details, traffic commercial quantity of controlled drug and cultivation of cannabis.
He has been refused bail and will appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 22 June.
