A woman was detected drink driving after crashing her car at Modbury Heights this morning.
Just before 3am on Saturday 30 May, Police were called to the corner of Milne Road and Ladywood Road after a Mazda sedan collided with a steel fence.
Luckily the driver and her passenger were not injured.
When breath tested, the driver produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.258, more than five times the legal limit.
A 21-year-old Ingle Farm woman was reported for drink driving, issued with a twelve-month instant loss of licence and her car was towed from the scene. She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
