Man arrested in Port Augusta

A man has been arrested after an incident in Port Augusta West.
About 4am today (Tuesday 14 July), police were called to a house in Mildred Street after reports that a woman had seen a man trying to break into her house.
The man fled the scene but patrols arrived quickly in the area, with the man arrested in nearby Hartley Street.
The 37-year-old local man will face numerous charges including being unlawfully on premises and hinder police.
