Suspicious fire Elizabeth Downs

Just after 4am on Monday 3 August, police and fire crews were called to a vacant house on Stakes Crescent after reports of a fire.

The home was engulfed in flames when police arrived, but it was quickly extinguished by firefighters. The house and a car in the rear yard were both destroyed in the blaze.

Police believe the fire to be suspicious and are asking anyone who may have witnessed any activity in the street to come forward.
