Woman arrested at Royston Park

Just before 2.30am today (Thursday 30 July), police saw a vacant house on Payneham Road with the front door broken open.

When police searched the property, they located a 52-year-old Campbelltown woman inside one of the rooms.

The woman threw objects at police and grabbed and scratched officers during the arrest.

She was charged with being unlawfully on premises, assault prescribed emergency worker and resist arrest.

The woman was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
