Trespasser arrested at Kilburn

A trespasser was arrested at Kilburn last night.

Police were called by vigilant neighbours who heard people in the rear yard of a vacant house on Brunswick Street, Kilburn about 9.45pm on Thursday 18 April.

Patrols attended and located one man in the backyard.  Two bicycles were found, but police and Police Dog Cooper were unable to track down the second man.

A 45-year-old Blair Athol man was arrested.  It will be alleged he was found in possession of breaking implements, a torch, gloves and a small quantity of methamphetamine.

He was charged with unlawfully on premises, theft, possess article to commit offence and possess controlled drug.

He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 15 July.
