Police investigate suspicious fire at Hindmarsh

Just after 6am on Sunday 13 September, police and Metropolitan Fire Service crews were called to a business on Port Road after reports that two people had forced entry to the premises and lit a fire inside.

The pair were then seen fleeing on foot towards the city along Port Road.

Firefighters worked to contain the blaze however extensive damage had been caused.

Traffic restrictions will remain on Port Road until the scene has been cleared.
