24 Jul 2026 10:58am

Two men have been arrested after drugs and fake ID’s were found during a traffic stop at Woodville Park last night.

About 11pm on Thursday 23 July, Police stopped a Toyota sedan on Torrens Road after it conducted an illegal U-turn.

When police spoke to the driver and passenger, they both provided false details along with fake identification in those names. Further checks revealed their real identities, and both men were found to have outstanding warrants.

The men and the vehicle were searched with officers locating an amount of GHB, methamphetamine, prescription medication, more fake ID’s and cards in other people’s names.

A 39-year-old man from Andrews Farm and a 42-year-old man from Ovingham were arrested and charged with several offences including trafficking in a controlled drug, unlawful possession, traffic offences and possession of prohibited material for a criminal purpose. They were both refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
