Murray Mallee police detected a number of drivers drink driving, drug driving and committing other traffic offences across the weekend.
On Friday 14 August, a 33-year-old Greenwith woman was reported after being stopped on Charles Street, Murray Bridge. It will be alleged she returned a positive breath test of 0.149. She was issued with an immediate six-month loss of licence and her vehicle was impounded for 28 days. The woman will be summonsed to court in the coming months. (212290)
Also on Friday, Loxton Police stopped a 48-year-old man on Coral Street, Loxton who was driving while disqualified. His vehicle was also unregistered, uninsured and found to have safety defects. He will be summonsed to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date. (212017)
On Saturday 15 August, a 46-year-old Burdett man was reported after being stopped on Lookout Drive. It will be alleged he returned a breath test result of 0.159. He was issued with an immediate 12-month loss of licence, and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days. The man will be summonsed to court in the coming months. (212470)
On Sunday 16 August, a 51-year-old Woodville South man was reported after being stopped on the Sturt Highway. It will be alleged he returned a positive breath test of 0.098. He was issued with an immediate six-month loss of licence and will face court later this year. (213663)
