Drink driver crashes at Salisbury

Just before 7pm, Sunday 16 August police were called to Salisbury Highway near the intersection with Kings Road after reports a car had mounted the media strip and crashed into a sign.

Patrols located the Mitsubishi Sedan and the driver who was breath tested, allegedly returning a blood alcohol reading of 0.218 over four times the legal limit.

The 41-year-old man from Salisbury was reported for drink driving, issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence and his vehicle was towed from the scene.
