A driver will face court after allegedly driving while disqualified at Port Augusta.
Just after midday on Sunday 16 August, police were on patrol when they saw a Mitsubishi sedan travelling on Carlton Parade. Officers recognised the driver as being subject to a licence disqualification.
The vehicle was later located abandoned on Richardson Crescent, with the driver found in the front yard of a nearby home.
The 46-year-old Port Augusta man was reported for driving while disqualified and failing to truthfully answer questions.
He will be summonsed to appear in the Port Augusta Magistrates Court at a later date.
The Mitsubishi sedan was impounded for 28 days.
