Limestone traffic wrap up

Just before 11.30pm on Friday 11 September, police stopped a 36-year-old Mount Gambier woman driving on Fairlie Street, Mount Gambier. She returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.121 and was reported for drink driving. She was issued a six month immediate loss of licence notice and she will be summoned to appear in court at a later date.

At about 2.40pm on Saturday 12 September, police stopped a 35-year-old Naracoorte man driving on Magarey Crescent, Naracoorte. The probationary driver recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.064 and was reported for drink driving and breaching conditions of his licence. He will appear in court at a later date.

Just before 5pm on Saturday 12 September, a 21-year-old Allendale East man was stopped by police on Agricultural Bureau Drive, Millicent. He recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.053 and was reported for drink driving. He will appear in court at a later date.

About 11am on Sunday 13 September, police stopped a 32-year-old Millicent man on the Princes Highway at Tantanoola after detecting him travelling at 120 km/h in a 110 km/h zone. The driver returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.070 and was issued with expiation notices for speeding and drink driving.

At 3.45pm on Sunday 13 September, police stopped a 41-year-old Mount Gambier man driving on Stewart Terrace, Naracoorte. The driver returned a positive roadside drug test for cocaine. He was issued a three month immediate loss of licence notice and may face a drug related fine or charges pending a sample analysis.
