Man arrested with a stolen motor scooter at Salisbury East

A man will face court after being arrested with a stolen motor scooter overnight.

About 9.30pm on Monday 14 September, police were called to Alek Way, to reports of a disturbance.

When police attended, they located a man in possession of a stolen Bolwell motor scooter.

Police arrested the 22-year-old man from Adelaide.

Police will allege when they searched the man they located three stolen licence plates.

The man was charged with numerous offences including unlawful possession, possess a controlled drug and possess equipment to use with controlled drug.

His bail has been refused, and he is expected to appear in court later today.

Checks on the motor scooter revealed that it had been stolen from a Kent Town property in June.
