Drink driver Maitland

Just after 7.30pm on Monday 14 September, Yorke Mid North Highway Patrols were deployed in a shadow fleet when they stopped a Toyota utility on Kilkerran Terrace for a mobile driver test.

The driver, a 56-year-old man from Maitland, was submitted to a breath test where he allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.080. He was reported for drink driving and issued with a six-month immediate licence disqualification.

He will be summonsed to appear in the Maitland Magistrates Court at a later date.
