Police have reported a number of drivers for drink and drug driving offences over the weekend.

About 7pm on Saturday 13 June, police stopped a Holden sedan on McInnes Avenue, Naracoorte for the purpose of a driver test.

It will be alleged the 40-year-old local man returned a positive result of 0.066.

The driver was reported for drink driving and the Holden was impounded for 28 days.

At 1am on Sunday 14 June, police stopped a 24-year-old woman from Mount Gambier driving a Hyundai sedan on Bay Road, Mount Gambier.

It will be alleged the driver returned a positive result of 0.130

The woman was reported for drink driving, issued a six-month instant loss of licence notice and her car was impounded for 28 days.

About 4.10pm on Sunday 14 June, police stopped a Ford sedan on the Riddoch Highway, Struan for the purpose of a driver test.

It will be alleged a 31-year-old woman tested positive to methamphetamine. The driver will be issued with an expiation notice and a three-month immediate loss of licence notice.
