Drink driver stopped at Para Hills

A drink driver has had his vehicle impounded after being caught driving nearly four times over the legal limit yesterday.
About 8.30pm Monday 5 May, Golden Grove patrols stopped a Kia sedan on Pamela Drive, Para Hills. The driver underwent a breath test, returning a positive result of 0.240. The 44-year-old man from Mount Barker was reported for drink driving and will be summonsed to court at a later date. The driver was issued with a 12 month immediate licence disqualification and his car was impounded for 28 days.
