Man assaulted at Murray Bridge

Shortly before 12 noon today (6 May), police and emergency services were called to Neumann Avenue in relation to an assault.

Upon arrival police located a 34-year-old local man who had an injury to the back of his head.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Local forensic officers attended the scene and conducted an examination.

Murray Mallee Detectives are investigating the incident.
