A drink driver crashed into a Seaford pharmacy this evening.
Police were called to Seaford Road, Seaford about 6.15pm on Monday 22 June after a car crashed into a pharmacy, then reversed, drove down the road and crashed into a Stobie pole and tree.
A verandah post and exterior of the pharmacy was damaged during the incident.
The driver, a 41-year-old Port Noarlunga South man, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.168 – more than three times the legal limit. He was reported for drink driving and aggravated driving without due care.
He was issued with a 12-month instant loss of licence and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
He sustained minor injuries in the crashes but did not require medical attention.
His vehicle was not impounded due to collision damage and was towed from the scene.
