Man arrested after theft at Camden Park

Police were called to Mooringe Avenue just before 6pm on Sunday 21 September after a man was allegedly seen searching through a car and checking nearby vehicles.

The man, a 47-year-old from Novar Gardens, was located on Anzac Highway, Plympton a short time later.

He was found in possession of vehicle parts and other property, believed to have been stolen. He was arrested and charged with illegal interference, theft and unlawful possession.

His bail was refused and he will attend court on Tuesday 22 September.
