Break-in at Eden Hills

Just before 4am on Sunday 7 June, police were called to a house on Ward Avenue after reports three people had broken into the property and confronted the occupants before fleeing in a Volkswagen.

Patrols responded quickly and located the car, which failed to stop for police.

A short time later, police located the vehicle abandoned on Rose Street, Mile End. The car was seized for forensic examination.

Police searched the surrounding area however were unable to locate the suspects.

Investigations into the matter and the identity those responsible are ongoing.
