Man arrested in Adelaide

Just before 3am on Wednesday 30 September, police were called to a construction site on Frome Street after security staff monitoring CCTV reported a man had entered the site and was carrying property away.

Patrols arrived within minutes and located the man, a 35-year-old from Adelaide, near the site. When police approached, he attempted to ride away on a bicycle however was arrested.

Police recovered construction materials from the man's backpack as well as drug paraphernalia.

He was charged with unlawfully being on premises, theft, resist police and possess drug equipment.

He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
