A man has been arrested after a search at Elizabeth Downs yesterday.
On Wednesday 1 July, officers from Northern District Volume Crime Section conducted a search of a home on Andrews Road.
During the search, police located a 3D-printed handgun and ammunition inside the property. The firearm and ammunition were seized for further examination.
A 24-year-old Elizabeth Downs man was arrested and charged with aggravated possession of a firearm without a licence, possession of ammunition, breach of bail and fail to answer a question relating to a firearm.
The man was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.
