Car crashes into tree at Para Hills

Police are investigating after a car crashed into a tree at Para Hills on Monday.

About 12pm on Monday 25 August, police and emergency services were called to Kesters Road after a Mazda sedan left the roadway, collided with a tree and caught fire. SA Metropolitan Fire Service crews attended and extinguished the blaze.

The driver, a 19-year-old man from Gulfview Heights, and his two passengers were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Mazda was extensively damaged and was towed from the scene.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
