Police have uncovered a large-scale cannabis cultivation operation in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.

About 8.30am today (Monday 22 June), police, with the assistance of SA Power Networks, attended a property on Gould Road, Elizabeth Park for a drug search.

The address had been converted for the purpose of large commercial cannabis cultivation, including the use of prescribed equipment. Police located an extensive setup incorporating irrigation, electrical and heating systems, along with diverted power designed to support the operation.

Over 180 plants were seized and investigations are continuing.

Anyone with information regarding the sale and supply of illicit drugs is asked to contact Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au or call 1800 333 000 – you can remain anonymous.
