Drink driver at Monarto

A man will appear in court with a blood alcohol reading of 0.195 in Monarto.

At 12.40 am, Tuesday 23 April police attended Frahns Farm Road Monarto after reports of a silver Toyota sedan leaving the road, taking out trees and shrub.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 26-year-old Hartley man was submitted to a breath test and allegedly returned a reading of 0.195 nearly four times the legal limit.

He was issued an on the spot 12-month loss of licence and was reported for driving without due care and drink driving. He will be summonsed to attend the Murray Bridge Magistrate Court at a later date.
