Limestone Coast weekend traffic detections

Friday 28 August

• Mount Gambier: A 41-year-old Mount Gambier man was reported for driving while disqualified. He will appear in court at a later date.
• Joanna: A 50-year-old Naracoorte man was detected travelling at 155 km/h in a 110 km/h zone on the Riddoch Highway. He was fined and issued with a six-month immediate loss of licence.
• Mount Gambier: A 64-year-old Mount Gambier woman returned a positive roadside drug test for methamphetamine. Checks revealed she was also driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle while disqualified. Her vehicle was impounded for 28 days, she was reported and will appear in court at a later date.
• Mount Gambier: A 20-year-old Mount Gambier woman returned a positive roadside drug test for cocaine. Checks revealed she was driving while disqualified. Her vehicle was impounded for 28 days and she was reported.

Saturday 29 August

• Mount Gambier: An 18-year-old Mount Gambier P2 driver recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.068 and was fined for drink driving and breaching his licence conditions.
• Nangwarry: A 22-year-old Mount Gambier man was stopped after being detected travelling at 119 km/h in a 110 km/h zone. He returned a positive breath test, was reported for drink driving and speeding, and was issued with a six-month immediate loss of licence.

Sunday 30 August

• Mount Burr: An 18-year-old Rocky Camp man was reported for driving while disqualified. His vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
• Mount Gambier: A 55-year-old South East woman returned a positive roadside drug test for methamphetamine and cocaine. She was issued with a three-month immediate loss of licence and will appear in court.
• Mount Gambier: A 25-year-old Mount Gambier man was reported for driving while disqualified. His vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
