A man has been arrested following the discovery of seven gel blasters at a Murray Bridge home.
About 9.15am on Monday 17 August, Murray Bridge investigators attended a Murray Bridge property and conducted a search.
It will be alleged that police located seven gel blasters, a machete and drug paraphernalia during the search.
A 34-year-old Murray Bridge man was arrested and charged with multiple firearms offences and possessing a prohibited weapon. He was bailed to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on 30 September.
Police remind the public that gel blasters are classified as regulated imitation firearms and must be handled and stored in accordance with the Firearms Act and regulations. Significant penalties apply for the misuse or improper storage of firearms, including gel blasters.
