A man has been reported after returning a high-range blood alcohol reading following a minor crash at Greenwith.
Police were called to Leedham Drive, Greenwith, about 8.15pm on Sunday 6 September after a Toyota sedan left the road and collided with a garden bed, narrowly missing a fence.
The driver, a 66-year-old Willaston man, was breath tested at the scene and recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.343, almost seven times the legal limit.
He was reported for drink driving, issued with a 12-month immediate loss of licence and his vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
The man will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
