Police are investigating after a business was broken into at Paradise.
Police were called to premises on Lower North East Road at about 1.30am on Monday 7 September following an alarm activation.
On arrival, patrols found the front door had been forced open and the cash register rummaged through. The till contained very little cash and, at this stage, nothing appears to have been stolen.
The incident serves as a timely reminder for businesses to minimise the amount of cash kept on site wherever possible.
Crime Scene Investigators attended and examined the scene. Investigations into the incident are continuing.
Anyone who saw suspicious behaviour in the area, or has information that may assist investigators, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000. You can remain anonymous.
