Three youths charged over fire at church

Police and fire crews responded to reports of a fire at a church in Edinburgh Street, Port Lincoln about 2.20pm on Friday 26 April.

When police arrived, they located a fire in a rear building, which was extinguished by MFS crews.

Following investigations, three youths were located nearby a short time later and arrested.

The three boys, aged 10, 12 and 13, were charged with arson and serious criminal trespass.  They were bailed to appear in the Port Lincoln Youth Court on 17 June.
