Teen charged with aggravated robbery of liquor store

A teenager has faced court charged over a bottle shop robbery that occurred on the weekend at Port Lincoln.

It will be alleged the 13-year-old Port Lincoln girl stole alcohol from a local liquor store about 5.45pm on Sunday 11 May.

When a staff member approached the youth to prevent her from leaving, she allegedly assaulted him with a bottle.

The victim sustained a laceration to his face.

Following investigations, the youth was arrested on Monday afternoon, 12 May. and charged with aggravated robbery, theft and hinder police.  She was refused police bail and appeared in the Port Lincoln Youth Court today, Tuesday 13 May.
