UPDATE: Two women dead after Streaky Bay incident

Police are preparing a report for the Coroner after the bodies of two women were recovered from waters near Streaky Bay.
Emergency services were called to an area near Back Beach Road about 11.15am today (Tuesday 13 May) after reports that two women had gone missing in the ocean while walking the shallows.
A 67-year-old woman from Sturt and a 65-year-old woman from Streaky Bay were pulled from the water but could not be revived.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
